About Douglas Retig, M.Ed
Douglas Retig, M.Ed brings a unique combination of professional credentials and personal dedication to every supervised visitation he conducts. He retired from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department as a Bureau Director and earned a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership. Before his relationship with the Sheriff's Department, he taught in public schools teaching elementary and middle school students.
With 14 years of experience as a Professional Supervised Visitation Provider, Douglas is certified with the State of California, Trustline Certified, Approved by the California Department of Children and Family Services, and holds a current CPR certification.

Supervised visitation is a court-ordered service that allows a parent to spend time with their child in the presence of a trained, neutral third-party monitor. It is designed to ensure the physical and emotional safety of the child during visits, while still preserving the parent-child relationship in a structured, supportive environment.
